Zen Zen Kimono Robes

Today's discovery of ecologically sustainable, organic cotton kimono robes was a very happy accident. I was browsing Instagram and came across a stockist for these robes and thought "that is a perfect gift to myself for lazy summer lounging". So I ordered one, plus a little drawstring bag too.

What are Zen Zen Kimono Robes?

Zen Zen (by designer Andrea Philips) is a registered fair trade company. This means that everyone they employ, and their subcontractors too, get a fair living wage and have good working conditions. They also support and are involved in sustainable education, re-forestation, organic farming and community empowerment projects.

The kimonos themselves are soft and comfy, with fabric inspired by nature, a traditional kimono design, but with a modern twist. They have double belt loops for short or long waisted women and are mid calf in length... just perfect for popping on over PJ's for summer breakfasts on the deck or verandah.
