Sahasa Necklaces

Already a staple in my wardrobe, Sahasa Necklaces are a beautiful combination of unique handmade fabulousness and fairtrade, ethical and organic manufacturing. Tess Freund, from Monkey and Mum, has curated a fantastic collection of beautiful artisan made items to add colour to your everyday outfits.

The "Dea" Necklace

What are Sahasa Necklaces?

All Sahasa necklaces are created by local artisans in Jaipur, India, who are overseen by Mehera Shaw Foundation, members of the Fair Trade Federation and committed to sustainable artisan development. All artisans work in a clean safe environment and get paid a fair wage which they set themselves.

The necklace range make the perfect gift for a new mumma as they are completely safe for little hands and mouths, plus they are hand-washable too. Each piece is fashioned from GOTS certified organic cotton, low impact AZO free dyes and contain no small parts. They have a huge variety of sizes and colours to suit all tastes.

Where are Sahasa Necklaces available?

You'll find the full range of Sahasa Necklaces (plus scarves, bags and earrings too) at their website. Designs are made in either a single strand, double strand or triple strand and range in price from $23 (single) to $38 (triple).
